Missouri teachers Steve Willott (who teaches advanced placement statistics and calculus at Francis Howell North High School) and Marsha Tyso (who teaches physics and honors physics at Oakland Junior High) have just been honored with the annual Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.
Aside from the acknowledgment, they each received $10,000 and a paid trip for two to Washington to attend the ceremony.
Congratulations to these educators who inspired their students to learn and grow in school!
