A fire at the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society resulted in the unfortunate deaths of several animals. People of all ages were so heartbroken they dropped off various sums of money to go towards repairing the animal shelter.
One duo in particular, Billy and Sophia, left a letter that said, “we are very sad about the fire in the shelter and we hope that you can make it through the sadness.” Along with the letter they also left $10 dollars from selling lemonade and cupcakes.
