Do you, like a lot of people, only think of putting on sunscreen after you’ve already gotten burnt?
Ouch.
If so, make it a goal this summer to stay protected from the sun’s damaging rays — which, people, are really damaging. Skin cancer is way uglier than the tiny red bumps of irritation on your face that some sunscreens can cause. That, along with, “they just feel greasy,” are some top contenders of reasons of why people don’t wear sunscreen.
But it’s 2009, and we’ve come a long way from the Parsol 1789 ingredients, and oil-slick feeling creams in the past. Even better, the Environmental Working Group has come out with their 2009 Sunscreen Guide to help you make a good choice.
Check it out here so you can get back to worrying about less nefarious things, like how all the chlorine in the pool is ruining your highlights.
So keep your skin unblemished by either bad tan lines or scary-looking moles that seem scarier after each summer — and you may even improve the condition of your skin! You will be glad you did.
