His Holiness, the 14th incarnation of Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, will be teaching six sessions on awakening the mind or Bodhicitta. The teachings will be translated into English, Mandarin and Cantonese. The Dalai Lama escaped to India in 1959 following the invasion of Tibet by the Chinese and was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 1989.
Here’s another tidbit of teaching that Tonic is offering for free: Dalai Lama means ocean guru, so named because he is regarded as “the ocean of compassion.”
