Why Tibetans get so High

Researchers identified two genes that explain why Tibetans are able to breathe easily in high places.

Tibetans have unusually low blood haemoglobin levels, which allows them to thrive at high these altitudes. It’s is only until now that experts have managed to trace this back to genes.
