Your Drinking Water’s Filtered, but What About Your Shower?

Filtered drinking water has become the norm in many households, but when was the last time you thought about what’s coming out of your shower head? Even if you live in a community with comparatively clean water, tap water can leave your skin and hair dry, brittle, and irritated … particularly in the summer, when you’re probably feeling the effects of the sun before even stripping down and pulling open the shower curtain.

The solution? It comes from celebrity hairstylist Jonathan Antin, who’s created a special water filter called the Beauty Water Shower Purification System. Simply attach this gizmo to your shower’s faucet and the water’s pH balance is adjusted, and any chlorine and metal is removed, so that your hair and body aren’t stripped of any natural oils. Fans say that your skin and hair will feel more supple within a week, and hair color will last much longer too.

And fear not, girly girls: there are no tools necessary to install this contraption, which can be easily attached in your shower without breaking a nail. Now if only it was this easy to fix a leaky faucet …
